The mayor of Pamplona, Enrique Mayancongratulated this Wednesday afternoon Angela Eraso Laquidain for her 100th birthday. The mayor went to his home Iturrama neighborhood to visit her on such a special day. As usual, he gave a bouquet of flowers, a San Fermín handkerchief, a pin and a pin and a book about Pamplona in the 20th century.
Ángela Eraso Laquidain was born in Fitero on March 2, 1921.. There she was baptized and after three days they brought her to Pamplona to the inclusa. He has never known who his parents were. Here in Pamplona a couple welcomed her as one of the family. She has always been a hard worker, as evidenced by already at the age of 9 they sent him to wash clothes in the river. She likes crocheting, reading and also, in her good years, she wrote some poetry. Ángela Eraso Laquidain got married and had 10 children. He lives in her house in the Iturrama neighborhood and with her, Every week, two of her daughters, Mª Cruz and Fabiola, take turns accompanying and caring for her.
